Lessons: Could You Help Me Out?

by Elise

I have a question for you. I have been playing music on my own, and I am trying this new piece of music, but some of the stuff I don't understand. I was wondering if you could help me out if you are available?

Hello there,
Currently, my program is full, and I don't take any new piano students.

But I'm happy to help you with any questions! ;)

The two places you have marked in the score are:

-A note with a Fermata sign above it. This means to stop at that place in the score and hold the note a bit longer.

-The second place is marked with 8va. It means when written above the staff, to play the same notes an octave higher.

I hope this helped!
Happy practicing,
Maria
